Hyaline is an audiovisual piece that engages with these matters of transfer. Centered on a glassified rod of Asklepius —a global symbol of health— Hyaline engages with a series of interruptions and intersections, with distorted and glitched sound and imagery of disease and health. It is a demonstration of the integration of points of contact across the glass screen. It is a piece about synthesis, but also about isolation. It is about centrality, the dissemination of destructive and restorative content, and the communal response to global catastrophe.
